Oshun is one of the most beloved Orishas of the Yoruba tradition of West Africa. She is the Goddess of rivers, sweetness, beauty, sensuality, fertility, prosperity, love, and abundance.
She is often depicted adorned in gold and surrounded by flowing water, honey, sunflowers, mirrors, and symbols of beauty and devotion.
But beyond mythology, Oshun represents something that many women have forgotten; the ability to receive.
